Stock Messages Explained

All orders are subject to "Despatch Times" no matter which postal service you select.

We do not hold stock of every item we sell (some 35,000 items). Instead we source stock on demand and therefore need a lead time.

In Stock
Despatches same day before 4pm if 1st Class selected.

Available
Stock comes from our Supplier and despatched within the stated "Despatch Time".

Usually Available
Stock comes from our Supplier but availability has to be manually checked, we will notify you if there is a delay otherwise despatch as normal.

Backorder
Will ship when item becomes available.

Special Order
Rare items which need to be ordered on demand and can take some up to 14 days to arrive with us.

Out of Stock
Available for backorder, if you order we will do our best to let you know the expected date.

 

Shipping Quotes

To calculate the shipping cost, please add the items you wish to purchase to your basket. When you view your basket the Shipping Estimator at the bottom of the page will show you the shipping options and costs available to your country. There is no need to log in or contact us for a quote unless you feel there is a problem with the quote.

 

Why does shipping cost money on inexpensive parts?

Why do we charge shipping on small, cheap items? Basically small parts don't have a margin that would allow us to post the item for free. Postage charges cover labour, transaction, materials and Royal Mail charges. Please understand we are not in the business of excessive profits but we can't lose money on your order either.

 

UK Shipping

We offer free shipping for all orders over £50 and Super Saver Rates as per table below, based on your basket price. We want to be fair and transparent at all times, so we have devised a wide range of shipping services to suit everyone's needs. This helps both you and us in getting the best rate for your order and helps you know what to expect and when. Shipping in the UK is run on a dual, price/weight based system. We always want to offer you the best price.

Shipping by price called Super Saver is a fixed rate based on the total value of your basket. Items are sent 2nd class or Parcel Post to save you money.

Tip: Order before 11am and shorten your Despatch Time by 1 day. e.g. 1-2 Working days becomes 1 working day.

Tip: Super Saver is based on your basket total price while 1st Class is based on the total weight of your basket. On occasion it will be cheaper to send your order 1st Class.

 

EU, USA and International Shipping rates

All packets will be shipped by weight. Due to the complexity of this, please use the "Shipping Estimator" located on the "Your Shopping Cart" page to calculate the shipping cost to all EU and International addresses.

The shipping system will allow for accurate and fair shipping, compared to our ship-by-price system in the past. Ultimately, your shipping costs will come down for most spares and you will no longer need a quote for heavy items.

Please Note: Whilst we make every effort to ensure that our data is accurate, we reserve the right to re-quote your shipping on your order after your order has been placed.  If this occurs,we will confirm this with you. This can take place with bulky items once a quote from the courier has been obtained.

*Despatch Time: All orders are subject to a despatch time, this is listed on the product page and in your basket. If your cart has a mixture of despatch times, we will despatch once your entire order is ready. e.g. Shoes 1-2 Working Days + Handle Bars 2-4 Working Days = Despatch Time of 2-4 Working Days.

** Shipping Estimator: This is a great tool. Just add all the items to your basket and then go to your basket to see the shipping options available to you and their cost. Some shipping options are not available to carts over a certain weight, so won't appear in the estimator.

*** Yodel: We reserve the right to use alternative couriers on your order. This does not affect your service level. Other couriers we use are DHL, Fedex and UPS.

 

VAT on Export Orders

VAT (20% Sales Tax) is included in the Sterling and Euro prices listed on our website. VAT is not included on international prices on the product pages but will show in your basket before you login. Once you enter your address and confirm your shipping address is outsdie the EU, then VAT is removed from your order. USA, AUS, CI, NZ and CA do not pay tax on any part of the order.

 

Order Status

Once you have placed an order using our secure ordering and payment system, your order is processed by us and usually shipped according to the "Despatch Time" on the product page. You will be notified at each stage of your order via e-mail.

Pending
Your order has been received by our system and is awaiting to be processed by our sales team.

Processing
Your order is being processed through our supply network and will be despatched within the "Despatch Time" on the product page.

Despatched
Your order has been despatched via your preferred delivery method. If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you via e-mail.

 

Returns Policy

If you have any problems with your product upon arrival please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact page, and we will seek to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. This may include returns, refunds, and replacement. Please see paragraph 9.1 of terms and conditions for full details.

In brief, please note if you wish to return goods you must contact us first to notify us. This is part of our 14 day cooling off agreement.

Defective Goods / Warranty Claims
Goods can be returned and a replacement item will be sent out at no cost to yourself.  Please contact us to make arrangements.

Unwanted Goods
Unwanted goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Under our cooling off agreement, please return the goods unused and unopened for a full refund. Certain goods such as food, underwear, bottles, hydration systems and some wearable items, cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Please note we cannot pay for the return cost and we do advise you send your goods "Signed For" for your own peace of mind. Opened goods not in their original product packaging may be liable for a £5 or 15% (of the value of the item) charge, whichever is greater. Please note that to qualify for the cooling off period refund, your goods must be sent within 14 days of original receipt. Please keep proof of postage in case your item is delayed or lost upon return. Items sent outside the 14 days will not be eligible for a full refund and may be charged a restocking fee.

Undelivered Goods
Items returned to us undelivered due to no fault of our own, will incur new shipping costs for re-delivery and are not eligible for a shipping refund, if you decide, at this point, to cancel your order. If your order was despatched under the free shipping offer then a 15% restocking fee will apply to cover the cost of shipping paid by us.

Used Goods
If goods have been used, installed or damaged, we may not be able to accept the return of goods and you should contact us before returning them to see if a return is possible. It is down to our discretion if we can accept returns or exchanges.

Refunds
Refunds, including shipping charges, are only issued once goods have been received and inspected. Shipping charge refunds are only refunded for the 14 day cooling off period agreement and warranty returns. We will not pay for the cost of returning goods to us, except where goods are being serviced or replaced under warranty, in which case we will pay all reasonable costs but will not pay for any premium services, couriers, or express services.

Exchange of Goods
Due to the complexity of bike parts, we are only able to exchange goods without charge if we have despatched the wrong goods. If you wish to exchange goods because of personal preference or you have chosen incorrectly, we will, at our discretion, exchange goods as long as they are unused and in their original unopened packaging. However a £5 or 15% (of the value of the item) charge, whichever is greater, may apply. Please do contact us first to make arrangements and we will endeavour to be fair.
