Order placement

Once you have placed an order using our secure ordering and payment system, your order is processed by us and usually dispatched within 1-2 working days. You will be notified at each stage of your order via e-mail.

Pending: Your order has been received by our system and is awaiting to be processed by our sales team.

Processing: Your order has been processed and will be despatched within the stated "Despatch Time"

Despatched: Your order has been dispatched.

If there are any problems with your order you, we will contact you via e-mail, this may include payment problems, or stock availability issues.

UK Shipping Charges

We offer free shipping for all orders over £50 and Next Day delivery on all orders for £7.95 (next working day after despatch, please allow stated "Despatch Time', see product pages for details)

European Parts & Spares Shipping Charges (Items over 2kg may not be shipable, please contact us)

Delivery times vary depending on where the goods are being sent too and the type of service that has been selected. The despatch note will also be included with the parcel even if you have chosen a different delivery address. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Additional ID may be requested to ensure that your order reaches you securely. We use Royal Mail 1st class parcel post and APC Courier service. The customer will be notified of any items on back order and will be dispatched as they arrive with no additional delivery charge.
Petra Cycles does not accept responsibility for any delays, loss or damage to your order that occur during transit.


Returns Policy.

Petra Cycles cannot be held responsible for damage or loss during transit, it may be possible to make a claim against the dispatchers using your reference number if loss or damage occurs, conditions and terms apply please refer to the dispatchers web-site for more information.
If you have any problems with your product upon arrival please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact page, and we will seek to rectify any problems as quickly as possible. This may include returns, refunds, and replacement. see paragraph 9.1 of terms and condition for full details.

In brief:

Defective goods can be returned and a full refund including costs occurred by you can will be issued.

Unwanted goods. You have 7 days from receipt under our cooling off agreement to return the goods unused and unopened. If goods or opened, used or not in their original packaging a £10 or 15% (of the value of the item) whichever is greater, administration fee will be incurred. Shipping costs to you will be refunded however you will be responsible for the return costs to us.

Refunds are only issued once goods have been received and inspected.

Exchange of Goods

Due to the complexity of bike parts we are only able to exchange goods without charge if we have despatch the wrong goods. If you wish to exchange goods because of personal preference or you have chosen incorrectly. we will under our discretion exchange goods as long as they are unused and in their original unopened packaging. However a £10 or 15% (of the value of the item) whichever is greater, administration fee will be incurred.
