The ETRTO (European Tyre and Rim technical Organisation) developed a standard method for measuring which gives unambiguous tyre sizing . There are two numbers - the first is the width of the tyre in millimetres and the second is the diameter of the rim, also in millimetres.
If you are replacing an existing tyre on your bike, find the ETRTO number on the sidewall.
This tyre will not fit a standard 700c rim as the diameter is more than 622.
